Hi fam! Oh my gosh it’s been a while. And I have no excuse other than the fact that we’re busy over here okay!!! We had three launches (Xxtra Chocolate Chip, Glazed Donuts, & Chocolate Donuts) happen in one day this week, but definitely can’t complain about that 🥲 It’s a good kind of busy and a f*cking MIRACLE that we have our entire website stocked rn.
Amongst the chaos, this team knows how to have fun, and our group chat has been POPPING OFF lately. We’re a super close knit team, always cracking jokes and sharing recs, which is kind of what we wanted to bring here when we started this newsletter. OKAY what do we think about Threads??? As a social media manager, I feel like there should be a case study on the emergence of this app because it’s WILD how fast it grew. I mean, we gained 2k followers overnight and hit 10k in just a matter of days… and as much as I’d like to take credit for that, I think it had more to do with the insane volume of people joining the app all at once and already liking what we do on our other platforms. It’s also insane how people decided to just become completely unhinged and say whatever they wanted (who gonna tell them we already been doing that 🤨) but the app wasn’t even necessarily designed for that. I think people just started to catch on to the fact that being unfiltered and uncurated is fun…? But again… WE BEEN DOIN THAT. But I’ve already started noticing people default back to using the app just like they would IG or Twitter... and I think it’s starting it’s starting to lose its sparkle a little but wdyt?? But shameless plug: follow us on Threads anyway.

It’s board game girl summer!!! Time to unplug!!! Breathe the fresh, warm air!!! No but seriously, so many of us on the team have been super into our card games and board games recently, and Rummikub has been a fav. It’s one of those games you can take anywhere (beach, dinner table, bar… yes I’ve done this) and literally everyone loves it. It just feels so good to connect with people and find enjoyment over something that doesn’t involve a screen 🥲 Check out this basic set for $15, this slightly more elevated one for $40, or this ADORABLE but hella expensive set… for $275 oops.
